Artistic empowerment workshops
Take part in a series of art workshops led by Isabelle Jonniaux, as well as empowerment workshops co-led by Lire & Écrire and Varia.
A programme centred on public space and how everyone can engage with it, regardless of their personal circumstances.
Exploring a sense of empowerment, civic legitimacy and the interpretation of public space by developing our understanding of the local fabric and engaging with the Gray neighbourhood in a ‘different’ way.
Au Gray du quartier is a project that also aims to serve as a creative foundation that can subsequently be extended, adapted or expanded by other groups living in or familiar with the Matongray area, in order to open up the initiative to the richness of diversity.
Finally, this project aims to actively enable a ‘vulnerable’ audience to exercise their cultural rights.
Practical information:
Venue: Théâtre Varia and Lire & Ecrire (Maison des Solidarités) are the main venues for the programme.
However, the public space should be considered the heart of the project.
Times: Friday workshops will take place from 9am to 12pm, in line with the training schedule.
