Embark on the Varia adventure
Are you looking for a dynamic internship at a theatre undergoing a transformation? Do you want to work towards ensuring that everyone can exercise their cultural rights? Do you enjoy interacting with audiences and taking into account everyone’s individual circumstances and realities?
We are looking for a cultural mediation intern for a period to be agreed.
Duration of the placement: minimum 3 months, between October and May.
Responsibilities:
- You will support and assist the two cultural mediators in their fieldwork
- You will help organise current and future projects
- You will help welcome groups visiting the theatre
- You will contribute to discussions on tools and the archiving of outreach activities
Profile:
- You are a Master’s student in socio-cultural activities or performing arts, or you have a keen interest in these fields
- You are responsible, resourceful and organised; you enjoy working in a team but can also work independently
- You are available to work during the day and in the evenings, depending on the needs of the outreach department
- You are not afraid of speaking in public
- You are curious and have excellent interpersonal skills
