How to apply: applying for a cultural communications internship at Varia
Come and take a look behind the scenes at Varia!
Are you looking for an immersive internship in the cultural sector? If you’re keen to learn all about how our team supports a wide range of artists and unique projects whilst upholding the institution’s overall vision and the coherence of the theatre season, you might just find what you’re looking for at Varia.
The Théâtre Varia is one of the six Performing Arts Centres of the Wallonia-Brussels Federation. Located in the heart of the capital since its foundation in 1981, it houses two performance spaces, as well as various rehearsal spaces, spread across two buildings. A place of discovery, encounters and inspiration, Varia supports and nurtures contemporary Belgian creativity in all its diversity. With its 11 associated artists and collectives, the theatre aims to offer a programme that breaks down barriers and knows no bounds, opening the stage to new narratives, hybrid aesthetics and creators with diverse identities, inviting all audiences to question the complexity of the world and to celebrate the inexhaustible richness of our imaginations.
Duration of the internship: minimum 3 to 5 months (negotiable)
Two possible internship periods: starting in September or January
