Launch of the Métamorphose Festival
From 12 to 14 March, for the duration of the festival, the Varia is transformed and invites you to experience the arts in a new light. Shows, short pieces, performances, exhibitions, readings, music…
How can we sharpen our gaze to take in the richness of life that abounds around us, from the infinitely small to the infinitely large? How can we work with our flaws and rough edges to allow the seeds of dialogue and the joy of encounter to take root within us? How can we reclaim our dreams and our stories, on the fringes of mainstream discourse? How can we keep moving, both within and without, to resist bitterness and fixed ideas? How can we reconcile our complexities to work together, to cooperate, whilst daring to acknowledge our vulnerabilities? How can we allow ourselves to pause, to breathe, to laugh at ourselves, to laugh together, in the exhilaration of a shared moment?
We look forward to seeing you at the Theatre and the Studio for a blossoming of sensitive and surprising experiences, which we hope will be as magical as the months ahead.
